The Windows USB driver is available in a standalone executable files (LGUnitedMobileDriver_S50MAN*******_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.**.*.exe) which simplify the installation process, while the Mac OS X drivers bundled in zip format (LGUnitedMobile_Mac_Driver_Ver_4.*.zip) so you have to install it manually. Especially for Verizon LG G3 device, it has different drivers (LG VZW_United_WHQL_v2.**.*.exe). You should remember, if you want to update, do not forget to uninstall the previous version first.
