Safe to remove bloatware list for Verizon HTC One M8

If you have a VZW-branded Android smartphone before you must familiar with this, don’t be surprised if the big red loaded your Verizon HTC One M8 with lots of bloatware apps. Some of them are quite useful, but not a few others that will only fulfill the app drawer. The most useful for me is the My Verizon Mobile app, with this you can manage your active wireless account, including check call, text and the data usage, even pay for a bill.

However, there is also an app that needs a subscription and you also need to pay to play with it. If you never use it, be sure to get rid of it, since some apps also works in the background, this will indirectly affect the RAM and battery usage.

If you are confused about what applications are safe to be removed or disabled on VZW HTC One M8, we provide with the following list. Just remember, the bloatware apps listed below are not complete, we will do our best to update the list so that it can make your smartphone bloatware-free:

VZW loaded apps: Accessories, Gameportal, Icon Glossary, My InfoZone, Slacker Radio, VMS (security app), Tones, Vcast Tones, Navigation.
All Amazon apps: Mobile, MP3, mShop.

The bloatware isn’t too much for me, so it’s wise if you simply disable it via the “App info”, in case you want to completely take away the bloatware apps from Verizon HTC One M8, you need a working root access, and this method is more risky, if you remove the wrong apps then your phone could be stopped working.
